Our brand new documentary set for it's premiere screening at The Jago, Dalston

On 21st July 2019, we will be premiering our documentary 'Release the Fear: The Sacred Journey' at The Jago, Dalston. Following the release of Natty's album 'Release the Fear', he selected a diverse group from the UK to journey deep into the remote Venezuelan Amazon rainforest, taking them on a life transforming journey to release their fears deep in nature and experience the healing of the powerful jungle medicine Yopo, ceremonies led by the legendary Shaman Rufino, whilst staying with the indigenous Piaroa community.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Natty, filmmaker Apex Zero, poet Shareefa Energy and community organiser DJ Snuff, then a jam session led by Venezuelan percussionist Williams Cumberbatch and Natty.

You are my brother. We met thousands of miles from where we were each born and became family not because of blood or proximity or mutual experiences but through a genuine love of Hip Hop, music and a shared perspective on the world, how it could be and how we could improve it. We were introduced by an absolute legend, MC Webber, because the sage he is could recognise the similarities in our energy before we had even been in a room together, and from there we became family. We’ve rocked stages together all over the world, produced music, videos, albums and thanks to all you did, I succeeded in one of my greatest achievements in helping to found EOW China with Raddam, C-Jam, General Huge Florian and the family. You helped me in so many ways, inspired me to do and be better. Your life story is an inspiration that I will tell as a lesson. You travelled the world, often alone, to places people sometimes run from, in search of freedom, redemption, an end to your suffering and to learn from life and people. You did things others can only dream of, overcame odds and you gave, really gave to people, sometimes when they didn’t deserve it, but you did it anyway. Because that’s the kind of brother you are. You loved life and you loved people, and you worked hard to see the best in and bring the best out of both. A phenomenal emcee, a native New Yorker who could spit in Chinese and speak it like a native. A unique sense of humour, sayer of some of the worst puns that have ever been said. A seeker of truth with an ear for the real that listened to the spirit when it spoke. I’m so happy and grateful that you managed to make peace with some of your demons before you transitioned, and perhaps that’s the reason why you were ready to pass on to the next stage. You are family to me and Whitney always will be. I am grateful to have been able to call you my brother and value all the times we spent rhyming, tearing stages, chilling, travelling, building, laughing and learning. On to the next adventure my G. See you on the other side.
