Apex Zero is a multi-disciplinary artist, creating as an emcee, beat maker, filmmaker, photographer and writer. Born and raised in West London with African and Grenadian roots, Apex is a powerful lyricist and cinematic storyteller with an insightful mind and eye, an unmatchable flow, atmospheric sound and ability to bring people together to create multi-layered experiences and provoke change.

Apex built his reputation on the underground London Hip Hop scene, performing alongside the city's finest emcees and DJs. Through the release and critical acclaim of his debut solo album "Reality Provoking Liberation", Apex toured the UK and Europe, hosted Reggae, DnB, Jungle and Bass music events with veteran underground DJ Steaz, became involved with world renowned digital production house GlobalFaction and helped to establish independent publication I Am Hip-Hop Magazine, expressing his views on Hip Hop culture and its connection to society through journalism, film and photography.

Aiming to broaden his horizons, Apex relocated to Beijing in 2014, collaborated with the best of China's Hip Hop and Reggae scene, performed across China and Asia and become resident emcee for The Syndicate, Beijing's leading Bass music crew. Since returning to London, Apex tours extensively, performing at festivals and events around the world, working with internationally acclaimed artists and is an organiser of international Hip Hop community End of the Weak.

Innovative digital production house focusing on working with socially/politically conscious artists on music videos, documentaries, films and more. Apex worked with GlobalFaction, the guerrilla film makers, since 2012 and became a member of the collective in 2016, helping to build the prolific filmography, working with many of the best artists on the scene today.
Print and digital media publication shining light on revolutionary minded art and edutainment. Formed by No Bounds, a charity aimed at community cohesion and helping former offenders, I Am Hip-Hop Magazine manifests Hip Hop culture and spreads its principles around the world. Apex helped to establish the magazine, writing, reviewing events, interviewing artists, organising events and the I Am Hip Hop Podcast. 
End of the Weak is the world's largest Hip Hop community and home to the most comprehensive test of an emcee's skill, the EOW MC Challenge. Founded in New York City in 2000 and now with chapters in 20+ countries across 5 continents, EOW aims to connect Hip Hop heads across the globe through a love of the art from and culture. The MC Challenge enable competitive rapping, but emphasising collaboration over insults. Apex organises EOW England with Mas Law and DJ Snuff and helped to found EOW China.
Pioneers of the Beijing DnB/Jungle scene, The Syndicate have been the driving force behind Bass music in the city and a major contributor to its growth across China. A collective of DJs, emcees and promoters originally from the UK, Hong Kong and China The Syndicate put on epic events with China based talent and some of the world's best DJs. Apex was the resident emcee in 2015 and 2016 and remains a member of the crew,
DB Bros is a record label at the centre of Beijing's Reggae scene. Founded by artists with decades of experience creating and promoting Reggae and it's associated art forms, with strong links in Jamaica, the USA, UK, Europe and around Asia they are becoming the biggest name in China based Reggae music. Apex's All and Nothing EP was distributed in China by DB Bros and have since collaborated on a number of projects.
